Dr. Yissell Delvalle, MD, FASAM is a Board Certified Psychiatrist and a specialist in Addiction Medicine. She graduated from UMDNJ-Rutgers Medical School in Newark, NJ, and completed her Psychiatry specialization at Saint Vincent's Hospital in Midtown New York. Dr. Delvalle earned her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with the highest honors (summa cum laude) from Rutgers in New Brunswick, NJ. Her expertise spans General Psychiatry, Addiction Medicine, Individual Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Psychopharmacology. She is dedicated to treating patients facing challenges such as addiction, anxiety disorders, psychosis, and postpartum depression in women. Dr. Delvalle's practice includes outpatient therapy methods for detoxification, drug addiction, painkiller addiction, psychiatric disorders, dual diagnosis, and Treatment Resistant Depression, making her one of the leading psychiatrists in Bergen County, NJ.
